To even begin to talk with someone about DEIB, one must spend time trying to reframe their perception of DEBI as a topic and objective. Ask them what they think DEIB is (seek first to understand) and then explain that it isn’t all about race, gender, CRT, affirmative action, or however else it’s been falsely described. It’s about humanity and fairness.
